Shipping Information

What are my shipping options?
This varies by product.  At HB, we do our best to offer you the most cost-effective shipping options for your order.  The only carrier that we currently offer is USPS.  We will provide options for our customers including, but not limited to:

1.     Parcel Post
2.     First Class
3.     First Class International (For Canada)
4.     Priority Mail
5.     International Priority
6.     Media Mail

Why such high shipping costs?

To calculate shipping, HB contacts USPS with the exact weight and dimensions of your package.  We then figure a small handling fee so that we can appropriately package and ship your order without damaging the product.  We charge you our USPS cost plus the pre-set handling fee.  We do not charge exorbitant fees; it is our goal to make sure you receive your order in a reasonable amount of time and in perfect condition for the lowest cost possible.

When will I receive my order?

At the top of the product description on the day of your order, you will see a ship date.  Your order will leave our warehouse on or before this date.  You can calculate your ship time from the date your order leaves HB.  Domestic deliveries via First Class Mail usually arrive within a week from the ship date.  Domestic Priority Mail typically arrives within 3 days.  And, Domestic Parcel Post will usually arrive within 10 days from the ship date. Once it leaves our local post office, it’s in the hands of USPS. Keep in mind that during busy seasons, times delivery times can be a bit longer. What if I do not receive my order?

HB does not insure shipments.  In most cases, however, we can provide you with tracking details. Because our products sell out, there is no way for us to replace your order if you do not receive it. We cannot be responsible for lost packages. Sorry!

When will I receive my order if I’m in Canada?
Delivery time to Canada is usually within 3 weeks of the ship date.  However, on rare occasions, orders CAN be held up in customs and take slightly longer.  For more information on international orders, please refer to “International Orders” to the left.

Can I track my order to Canada?
The short answer is no.  Please refer to the “International Orders” to the left for more details.

Will I receive notification when my order has been shipped?
After you’ve placed your order, make sure to check your account and see that your order has been CONFIRMED.  Once your order has shipped, the status of that order will change to SHIPPED, and an email will be sent to the address that you provided on your HB account.  This is a new feature, so please be patient as we work out any kinks!
